Statement import
Import a CSV or PDF bank statement on your device. The planner suggests your paydays and bills. Part of Plus.
What you get
- Files are read in your browser and never uploaded
- Detects recurring paydays and bills from your transactions
- Re-importing an overlapping statement doesn't duplicate anything
Typing in a year of bills is tedious. With Plus, you can import a statement file your bank or card provider already lets you download.
CSV files
The importer works out the delimiter, the header row and the date format (month/day/year, day/month/year or year-month-day). It handles files with a single amount column and files with separate money-out and money-in columns, and card exports where purchases are positive. You can check and change how columns are matched before anything is imported.
PDF files
PDF import is best effort. It works with text-based statements. Scanned PDFs are images of paper, so they can't be read. You review every row before it's imported.
Paydays and bills found for you
From your transactions, the planner looks for recurring paydays (weekly, every two weeks, every four weeks, twice a month or monthly) and recurring bills and subscriptions. It suggests them, and you choose what to add to your plan. It can also use the statement's closing balance as your balance.
Private by design
The file is read inside your browser tab. It's never uploaded, and the imported transactions are stored only in your browser. There's no bank login and no AI reading your transactions.
