About Pennykite

A privacy-first cash-flow calendar and debt payoff planner for people whose pay doesn't arrive once a month.

Most budgeting apps assume you're paid once a month and are happy to link your bank account. Many people are neither. They're paid weekly, every two weeks, twice a month or whenever the work comes in. They keep their budget in a spreadsheet. And they won't hand a bank login to an app.

Pennykite is for them. You enter your paychecks, bills and debts once. The planner then shows the balance you'll end each day with, how much is safe to spend before payday, and the month you'll be debt-free.

What we believe

  • Your numbers are yours. Your plan is stored in your browser, not on our servers. We can't read it, lose it in a breach or sell it.
  • No bank login. You type in your numbers or import a statement file. The file is read on your device and never uploaded.
  • Show the math. Every number comes with the arithmetic behind it. The planner does math, not advice: it's not a financial adviser.
  • Software, not a lender. Pennykite doesn't lend money, negotiate with creditors or offer debt relief, and it never holds or moves your money. It helps you plan your own payoff.
  • Free should be useful. The free plan and the free calculators work without paying. Plus adds a year-long calendar, statement import, debt check-ins and a weekly reminder.

Who we are

Pennykite is built and run by an independent developer. We don't publish customer quotes or usage numbers we can't back up, so you won't find any here.
